Partner Details → General

This tab contains general information about the partner.

You can change general information about the partner using the fields described below by pressing the 'Edit' button. When you are done editing, remember to press the 'Save' button at the bottom of the page. Click 'Cancel' to undo your changes.

Partner key

A Link specific Id. The Partner key field is not editable as it is used internally by Link to uniquely identify the partner.

Partner name

The name of the partner is displayed here.

Partner Type

The type of the partner can be changed here. In Link, there can be two different types of partners: internal and external. An internal partner is an endpoint (typically of an application) within your organization. External partners are your business partners that you are exchanging data with.

Comment

If you have any comments or notes about the partner, they can be written here.

Accept Error Messages

If you tick the "Accept Error Messages" checkbox your are enabling Link's error handling mechanism to route error notification messages to this partner in the event that the partner are either the sending or the receiving partner in the relevant distribution.

Note that Link will only send error messages to a partner if you have enabled Notify stakeholder, Notify sender, or Notify receiver in the relevant error handling setup.

Note. Sending error messages to a partner means that all registered contact persons (with configure e-mail addresses) will receive notification messages.
