Monitor groups
Every monitor item needs to belong to a monitor group. Monitor groups are used by the visualization of the monitor status page to arrange monitor items. Generally, monitor items of a similar nature are grouped together, often according to who needs to take action in case problems occur.
The Monitor group list page can be used to view, create, edit and delete monitor groups.
Note that the selection in the “Show Type” column determines how the monitor group is displayed in the monitor status page.
Show Type | How the monitor group appears on the status page when not manually expanded |

Show All | The monitor group shows all monitor items regardless of status. |
Show Warnings | The monitor group shows only items with warning or error status. |
Show Errors | The monitor group shows only items with error status. |
Always Collapsed | The monitor group is collapsed - i.e. it only shows the overall status. |
