Before creating the AS2 location, you need to set up your Link partner who is going to receive messages through AS2 Transport.
It is important that the Partner has an AS2 Identification. See the 'Partner Identification' page in the user guide for more details on how to create Identification values.
In short, AS2 (Applicability Statement 2) will create an “envelope” for the message, allowing it to be sent securely. Note that AS2 requires the receiving partner to always be listening for messages that are addressed to it.
About AS2 Certificates
The AS2 connection is depending on a AS2 Certificate which must be stored under the Certificates tab. See the Certificates page in the user guide for more details on how to upload certificates.
AS2 - Endpoint
Endpoint URL
A URL for the webservice where the message should be delivered to.
Timeout
When the connection should timeout.
AS2 - Endpoint Authentication
Use Authentication
If you select this checkbox you will be prompted to enter Domain, Username and Password as authorization.
AS2 - Proxy
Use Proxy
If you select this checkbox, you will be prompted to enter Proxy server URL, Username, Password and Domain information for the AS2 proxy.
AS2 - Partner Identification
Sender id
If the AS2 sender id is not the same as the registered AS2 identification value for the sending partner, you can set this value to override it.
Receiver id
If the AS2 receiver id is not the same as the registered AS2 identification value for the receiving partner, you can set this value to override it.
AS2 - MDN
Type of MDN
Here you can specify if you want to request a MDN (Message Delivery Notification) from the receiver and if it should be signed or unsigned.
AS2 - Security
Sign message
Here you can choose if the message should be signed or not.
Encrypt message
Here you can choose if the message should be encrypted or not.
